Perth Busport, Perth, WA
Perth Busport is an underground bus station in Perth’s CBD that operates like an airport with changing gates, to optimize servicing. The Busport is built around an underground lounge of 160 seats, where buses loop around.
Project Design Brief
With a variety of pavement finishes around various passenger entrances, designers did not want pavement elements to be an eyesore on the new pavements. Additionally new infrastructure was required for additional lighting, communications and CCTV, which required new covers and pits.
